As the clock ticks toward the beginning of the New Year, we come closer to entering into the dimension of 2019. We embody all the hopes, dreams, and fresh new perspectives that come with the promise of rebirth, reinvention, revitalization.
Our friend the Spider imparts her loving wisdom. She offers her guidance and goodwill, as she recognizes us as her family; the family of Living Beings of which we are all a part.
Spider starts her masterpiece upon an empty canvass. Her inner being; her instinctual impulses, the spark of knowing that is shared by all sentient beings, carries her to the scared blank slate where she belongs. There are no road maps, no conferring with others, no calculations; Spider opens and allows Divine Guidance to reveal to her the location of commencement.
Her earthy needs must be met, but Spider refuses to sacrifice the joy of creativity in the name of necessity. She has skillfully synthesized her ecstatic artwork with her means of survival. Spider summons us to always infuse duty with pleasure, work with play, matter with Spirit.
There are no materials which must be purchased. Spider needs not gather; she seeks not externally for tools and provisions. All of which dear Spider is about to create, originates from within.
Strand by strand, bit by focused bit of attuned love, Spider weaves her wonderous web. Compulsion to make haste is absent; as each fiber is laid, it receives her careful attention and tender care. Whether her primary, her ultimate, or any thread among the two, it is that upon which she labors that receives her undivided attention. Spider fearlessly occupies all the time in the world upon a single strand; she has the wisdom to fathom her power to reset that time with each one.
Spider gifts us the remembrance that we can start from nothing and create our masterpiece. All that we need comes from within. She asks us to let go of hurriedness and enjoy our Divine Process. Thank you, dear Spider. Happy New Year.
